1. Agricultural, forestry and fishery production

a. Agriculture

- Cultivation: Until July 15, 2019, the whole province has planted 23,870 hectares of rice, down 6.69% over the same period, mainly due to some areas being converted for use and construction purposes. In addition, some of the sunken areas were not cultivated but allowed rice to regenerate and some large areas were left vacant. The cultivated area of some remaining major plants is as follows: maize: 1,440 ha, down 17.86% over the same period; sweet potato 203 hectares, down 11.65%; 151 hectares of soybeans, up 3.35%; groundnut 426 hectares, down 9.73%; vegetables of all kinds, 1,542 ha, up 0.21% over the same period.

- Animal husbandry: In July, the situation of poultry farming in the province showed signs of prosperity due to the price of poultry products such as meat and eggs after a long time of falling too low, there were signs of rebound and maintained at a relatively high level. The market has been well consumed, so people have been assured and focused on production development. However, pig production still faces many difficulties due to the African swine fever epidemic in many localities so far has not stopped, consumption of pork products as well as the re-herding. The number of breeding households in the province is limited.

During the month, epidemic control, surveillance to prevent trafficking and transportation of cattle and poultry, and non-quarantined cattle and poultry products of functional agencies continued to be strengthened and implemented seriously; fully implement the processes, order and procedures in the process of quarantining animals and animal products.

b. Forestry

In July, rainy weather created favorable conditions for forest care and development, and the preparation of afforestation scenes of forestry production units as well as localities was basically completed. Up to now, the whole province has planted 465 hectares of newly planted concentrated forests, up 1% over the same period and reaching 66% of the yearly plan; the number of dispersed planted trees was estimated to plant 1,308 thousand; the output of exploited timber in the month was estimated at 3,647 m3, up 3.89%; firewood production is estimated at 4,204 Ste, up 1.03% over the same period last year.

Forest fire prevention and fighting has always been concerned by authorities, localities in the province and forest owners. Therefore, no forest fires have occurred since the beginning of the year.

c. Aquatic products

Aquaculture production in July was estimated at 1,440 tons, up 5.60% over the same period; fishing production is estimated at 288 tons, down 1.84%. For the first seven months of the year, total seafood production was estimated at 12,247 tons, up 4.49% over the same period. In particular, aquaculture output reached 11,093 tons, up 5.23%; mining output reached 1,154 tons, down 2.09% over the same period.

2. Industrial production

2.1. Production index

The index of industrial production in the province is showing signs of slowing down after months of maintaining the double-digit increase, up to June by 7.8% over the same period and estimated at only 0.09% in July. The reason is that the motorbike and motorcycle manufacturing industry still faces difficulties in consumption, while the industry that accounts for the largest proportion is the electronic component manufacturing industry, which has a slower growth rate. Compared to the previous month, the index of industrial production in July increased by 1.84%. By economic sector level I, the industries increased and decreased respectively over the previous month and the same period as follows: mining industry increased by 6.01% and increased by 22.15%; processing and manufacturing industry increased by 1.82% and decreased by 0.17%; production, distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 2.04% and by 10.81%; water supply, management and waste treatment increased by 2.50% and by 18.87%.

The remaining industries develop stably.

2.2. Main industrial products

The production volume of some major industrial products in July increased compared to the previous month. Specifically: Animal feed is estimated at 21,123 tons, an increase of 1.50%; clothes of all kinds 6,436 thousand, an increase of 3.40%; 586 thousand pairs of sports shoes and sandals, up 4.71%; ceramic tiles 14,114 thousand m2, an increase of 3.42%; 2,602 air conditioners, up 0.66%; cars with fewer than 10 people with 5,387 units, an increase of 3.68%; 137.747 motorbikes, up 0.69% ...

2.3. Employer index

The labor employment index in industrial enterprises in July increased by 0.65% over the previous month and decreased by 0.22% over the same period. For the first seven months of the year, the index increased by 0.18% over the same period; in which, state-owned enterprises decreased by 5.17%, non-state enterprises increased by 5.62%, foreign-invested enterprises decreased by 0.92%.

2.4. Consumption, inventory index

Consumption index for the whole manufacturing industry in July 2019 increased by 2.01% over the previous month and decreased by 9.97% over the same period. In the first seven months of the year, many industries had a high increase in consumption index such as: leather and related products increased by 21.69%; non-metallic mineral production increased by 22.99%, metal manufacturing industry increased by 24.36%, wood processing and wood products increased by 49.46%... Besides, some industries had consumption index decreased such as motor vehicle manufacturing industry decreased by 6.91%, other means of transport vehicle production decreased by 17.73% ... The remaining sectors had slight fluctuations.

Inventory index of the whole manufacturing in July 2019 increased by 9.29% over the previous month and by 57.86% over the same period. Most industries have high inventory index over the same period; in which, the production of motor vehicles increased by 100.77%, the production of other means of transport increased by 148.18% ...

3. Investment and construction

- Turnover of accommodation, food and travel services in July is estimated at VND 389 billion, up 11.30% over the same period last year. In which, accommodation service revenue was 33 billion dong, up by 9.49%; revenue from catering services reached VND 346 billion, up 11.41%; tourism and travel revenue reached 10 billion dong, up 13.85% over the same period last year. For the first seven months of the year, revenue of accommodation, catering and travel services reached VND 2,355 billion, up 9.67% over the same period.

- Turnover of other services in July was estimated at VND 263 billion, up 13.93% over the same period last year. In the first seven months of 2019, revenue of other services reached VND 1,761 billion, up 9.42 % over the same period.

4.2. Transporting passengers and goods

In July, transport revenue was 370.8 billion dong, up by 1.91% over the previous month and up by 14.03% over the same period. In particular, passenger transport reached 82.3 billion dong, up 9.56%; cargo transportation was 277.7 billion dong, up 14.57% over the same period. For the first seven months of the year, total transport revenue reached 2,531 billion VND, up 10.13% over the same period.

4.3. Price index

a. Consumer price index

The consumer price index (CPI) in the province in July increased by 0.55% over the previous month, up 1.05% over the same month last year and up 1.25% over December last year. For the first seven months of the year, the CPI increased by 1.28%, much lower than the average increase of 4.29% in the first seven months of 2018.

Among 11 main commodity groups, there are 6 groups that recorded an increase compared to the previous month: Food and catering services increased by 1.53% due to an increase of 1.28% for non-family foods. Besides, the prices of foodstuff rose by 0.09% and foodstuff rose by 1.83%, leading to the overall index of the group rising; beverage and tobacco group rose by 0.28%, mainly in non-beverage such as carbonated soft drinks, up 1.63%, bottled beer up 1.27% over the previous month; group of household appliances increased by 0.01%, mainly in the area of ​​charged fans increased by 0.55% over the previous month due to prolonged hot weather, the need to use cooling equipment for the seasons. summer rose; transportation group increased by 0.01% due to the petrol price adjustment of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group on July 17, 2019; culture, entertainment and tourism increased by 0.31%; Other goods and services increased by 0.82%.

b. Gold price and US dollar index

World and domestic gold prices have continuously increased in recent days. Gold price in July increased by 5.89% over the previous month, the average selling price increased 3,831 thousand. Contrary to the gold price, the average price of USD in the whole July decreased by 0.25% compared to the previous month, the common average selling price was 22,653 VND / USD.

5. Finance, banking and insurance

5.1. Situation of State budget revenue and expenditure

State budget revenues in the province continued to maintain a satisfactory progress, budget expenditures promptly met the requirements of development investment, debt repayment, assurance of national defense, security and operation of the State apparatus. According to the data of the State Treasury, the total budget revenue in the area as of July 22, 2019 is estimated at 16,881 billion Dong, as 60.74% of the estimate. In which, domestic revenue was 14,535 billion Dong, as 59.96% of the estimate; revenue from import-export activities reached VND 2,308 billion, equal to 65.01% of the estimate. In domestic revenue, some revenues accounted for a large proportion and achieved quite a level such as: Income from foreign-invested enterprises reached 10,304 billion VND, equaling 51.83% of the estimate; revenue from personal income tax reached VND 494 billion, equal to 69.59% of the estimate; the revenues from real estate reached VND 2,098 billion, equal to 306% of the estimate ...

Total state budget expenditure in the area as of July 22, 2019 is now 9,468 billion dong, of which regular expenditure is 4,896 billion dong, development investment expenditure is 4,541 billion dong.

5.2. Banking and credit activities

In order to meet the demand for capital for the economy, the State Bank branch in the province continues to direct the credit institutions in the area to well perform the capital mobilization, credit expansion in parallel with the restructuring and improve credit quality, focus credit for production and business sectors, especially priority areas under the policies of the Government and localities. Credit institutions in the area continue to implement measures to handle bad debts in order to control bad debts at a safe level. Strictly abide by the regulations on credit extension, operational safety, debt restructuring in order to limit arising bad debts and improve credit quality. By the end of July 2019, bad debts in the whole region were estimated at VND 700 billion, accounting for 0.95% of the total outstanding loans.

5.3. Insurance

Until July 2019, the whole province has 1,013,097 people participating in all kinds of insurance. In particular, compulsory social insurance (social insurance) is 197,088 people, voluntary social insurance 4,473 people, unemployment insurance 183,088 people, health insurance is 1,008,624 people. Compared to the goals of Resolution No. 21 and No. 28-NQ / TW: social insurance coverage rate reaches 31.6% of the labor force, unemployment insurance reaches 28.7% of the labor force and the coverage rate of social insurance, health insurance reaches 91.4% of the population.
